Some of these fabulous markets are special-occasion linked i.e. Christmas, Easter, school holidays, whilst others are on-going markets and are held throughout the year. Whatever the season, whatever the reason, I absolutely love the laid-back, relaxed feel of shopping at markets. With Christmas just around the corner, hitting the markets for that perfect gift for family and friends, should definitely be high on the priority list. Prices are hopefully better, produce is definitely fresher and just knowing that local artisans and/or farmers are being supported, gives one the warm, fuzzy feel of helping others.
