What's your favourite hilarious British TV? Tell me below :)
British television has such an amazing flavour. Apart from the adorable accents, some of it seems to have a raw twist. Reality shows are somehow even more awesome when they're British, and the Brits have so many of them. So what are the top three? The competition is fierce with so many amazing gems. I just love doing my chores to these types of shows.

1. Young, Dumb and Living Off Mum
The name of this show may seem scandalous, and it is highly entertaining. This show is about young people who are completely dependent on their parents. They are put together into a house to see if they can live on their own and become independent. These young people have to complete certain challenges, mostly centred around working in different types of jobs and completing daily tasks that adults do. You know, things like cooking, shopping for food, cleaning, etc. The parents judge how well the teens do through the week and choose a child to eliminate based on their behaviour. The parents are supposed to choose the most belligerent candidate for elimination. The winner receives a reward for "turning their life around" in the form of a round the world trip as their incentive to try. This show has me hooked and you can find it for free online.
Yes, That's right, this is actually a show and a pretty darned entertaining one! It's like Little Britain personified and you can fall in love with the characters. Benefits Britain follows Brits who are on benefits for various reasons. It follows folks from all walks of benefits life. From young adults who have sadly suffered from the economic recession situation, to older adults who do not work for various other reasons. Rather than demonising these people, somehow they've managed to frame them in a way where I don't even judge them (despite having worked non-stop from the age of 14 myself). It's highly entertaining and often quite dramatic.

3. Secret Eaters
Fabulously multitalented television presenter, journalist, writer and producer Anna Richardson is on a mission to prove to the world that Britain is a nation of secret eaters. If you've ever heard someone saying that they're eating all of the right things and that they don't eat that much but they're still struggling to lose weight; and if that person asks, how could that possibly be? Then that person could potentially be a secret eater. I don't want to ruin the show for you so I won't go into too much detail, but I will say that Secret Eaters is a show which follows British families to definitely find out if they are eating too much without realising. After revealing what each family member eats, they receive a personalised diet plan and in most cases come back for a post-diet reveal. Admittedly, this eye-opening show is actually educational for those who might be less aware of certain unhealthy eating habits and it has little scientific experiments throughout it. I highly recommend this show because in addition to being a fun reality show to watch, it is also educational and somewhat useful.
I hope that you liked my little list of top 3 Trashy British Reality Drama Shows. Others (some of which may even be too scandalous to write about on WeekendNotes) that I have thoroughly enjoyed snippets of include Clublife, Dating in the Dark, Brat Camp, Scrappers, Wife Swap, Caught Red Handed, Cops with Cameras, Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay's Hotel Hell, "Are You Fitter Than a Pensioner?", Arrange me a Marriage, Beauty and the Geek UK, Britain's Got Talent, Essex Wives, Ladette to Lady and Poor Little Rich Girls. There are loads more but I'm sure that by the time you're done watching this lot, you'll probably be desperately trying to recoup your brainpower.
