Most locals know you can walk the Busselton Jetty. At over 1800 metres, it is the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. They also know that if they decide it would be easier to get transport back, there is a solar-powered Jetty Train you can catch one or both ways.

There's also a striking boat-shed style Interpretive Centre which now features interactive technology with touch screens and a touch table offering an excellent insight into the Jetty's colourful past.

But did you know you can also do -

Mermaid Tours Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory

Descend 8 metres to the ocean floor via a spiral staircase to 11 viewing windows at various levels within the observatory. There are also a wide variety of tours, including Mermaid Tours, where beautiful Mermaids swim past the windows of the underwater observatory. Also evening tours and underwater Helmet Walks.

See a unique maritime ecosystem for coral, sponges, octopus, starfish and fish at the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory, nine metres below the surface at the end of the jetty. The Underwater Observatory has also installed all new interpretive signage, new technology and sound system during COVID-19 lockdown.

Provision of a lift within the observatory ensures that this amazing experience is available to those with limited mobility. For more information, click here .

Take a Tiger Moth ride over the Busselton Jetty

See the jetty from the air as well as all of Busselton right over to Dunsborough and Cape Naturaliste as you loop the loop with Tiger Moth Adventure Tours. It's a vintage ex-RAAF plane. You can choose a 'mild' or 'wild' adventure with loops, barrel rolls and steep turns. Click here for more details.

Do Yoga on Busselton Jetty

Start with a relaxing walk along the jetty, yoga mat tucked under your arm, then stretch it all out with boats sailing past and the sound of water lapping the timber piles beneath. KatieYoga runs the class, with part proceeds ($5) going towards Busselton Jetty restoration projects.

Meditate directly above the Bermuda Triangle which is on the opposite side of the Earth. Modifications and variations of poses are provided so students can tailor the class to suit their level or needs on that day.

Busselton Jetty Class: $20 per person. $5 yoga mat hire or BYO. See here for class times.

Jump and splash

Not quite the Busselton Jetty and a bit of a local's secret; 50 metres west of Busselton Jetty is a U-shaped timber jetty, enclosed by a huge net. Kids and adults will love it. Jump in and out on hot days,

You'll also find Aquatastic set up in front of The Equinox in summer; a huge floating obstacle course. Busselton's newest aqua attraction with large inflatable trampolines, slides, planks and a special kids zone. For more information, click here.
