Swim in some of the most beautiful beaches in the country and explore the islands around, have a picnic in one of the amazing parks or follow a walking trail in a beautiful forest. The possibilities are endless but here are some that you can't miss.
1. Have a delicious picnic in Kings Park with an amazing view of the city.
John Forrest National Park is only 30 minutes from city and has great walks through the forrest and at this time of year the wildflowers are great and the smell is swat . At the Tavern there are many kangaroos, people friendly to see and have a selfie with. The brook when flowing and with the two waterfalls are great and the old railway tunnel is an experience. There are plenty of picnic areas with barbecues. It does cost $12 for the park entrance thou.
