If you're in Melbourne and on the lookout for a clinic that offers a good service with great prices, student clinics are a wonderful option. There are a number of clinics located in and around Melbourne, offering a variety of services, starting from just $15.
All students are supervised by qualified instructors and have usually reached a certain point in their course before providing services to members of the public.
My own experience at a student clinic was fantastic. I had a massage and acupuncture session, and the student providing the services was very capable and professional and the overall experience was on par with a regular clinic.
2. Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy and Myotherapy The MIMT student clinic is located in Heidelberg and offers one-hour treatments for only $25. Treatments include massage (remedial and relaxation) and myotherapy.
The clinic is staffed by students studying either a Diploma of Remedial Massage or an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, and all proceeds from the clinic are donated to a cause within the local community (the clinic is currently supporting the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre).
3. Max Therapy Institute Melbourne
Max Therapy Institute is located in the Melbourne CBD, at Level 3, 310 King Street, Melbourne. The student clinic offers four treatments to members of the general public, including remedial massage, relaxation massage, myotherapy, and aromatherapy.

Endeavour College of Natural Health operates a number of student clinics in cities around Australia, including Melbourne. The Melbourne clinic is located in the CBD, on the corner of Elizabeth Street and La Trobe Street, near Melbourne Central.
Known as 'Wellnation Clinics', the clinics offer a range of treatments, including:

9. Evolve College
Evolve College regularly conduct student clinic days at their Melbourne campus, where they offer complimentary massages to members of the public. The student clinic offers a range of different massage services, including face massages, seated massages and full body massages.
The sessions don't require bookings, so all you need to do is just check the calendar on their website and turn up on the day.
Please note that the sessions are very popular, so the staff are unable to guarantee that everyone will get a massage on the day or that they'll be able to get their preferred time.

Most of the clinics only operate during school terms, so you may not be able to book in during certain times of the year (e.g. over the Christmas holidays)
