Utilising the power of football, Street Football Festival is a lively community sporting event celebrating diversity from Friday 17 to Monday 27 January 2014. As one of Australia's most important community event, this festival endeavours to bring people together from all walks of life, from media personalities to politicians, from junior and corporate teams to players from the Community Street Soccer Program.

Heaps of people, masses of matches in the highest spirit of good sportsmanship and respect.

The Great Sydney Swim

This is guaranteed to be a fantastic experience on Australia Day.

For swimming champions, take the plunge into the ocean for the final swim of the Body Science Great Australian Swim Series on Sunday 26 January 2014, which takes place in Farm Cove, beside the Opera House and Royal Botanic Gardens.

The four different events offered ensures that swimmers of all ages and all abilities can participate. For the best of the best speedy swimmers, Elite 2.2km Swim is perfect for you; kids aged 12 and under can register for Junior Kids 300m Swim and swim alongside some of Australia's best swimmers; for those wanting a casual splash can partake in Ky Hurst Kellogg's 750m Swim; and for the more experienced swimmer, give P&O Cruises 2.2km Swim a go.

As one of the most popular events in the Australian sporting calendar, you wouldn't want to miss out on the Ashes. This three-day cricket fest concludes with Toyota Family Day on day 3 and kids get in for free. So if you have youngsters aged 15 or under, bring them along. Just make sure they are accompanied by two paying adults.
