South Australia has hundreds of amateur and professional photographers who are producing incredible shots day after day. From picturesque, blue coastlines to red heights on the inland - these talented South Aussies have it all.

This is my compiled list of the top 7 photographers who specifically post images of South Australian destinations and landscape.

But, there are certainly many, many more - so feel free to comment your favourite photographer in the comment section.
**7) Studio 1836
**
Studio 1836 is a relatively new group of photographers and videographers from Adelaide. They state that their purpose is to unearth the true beauty of South Australia and capture the individuality and charm of this 'big town'. And it appears that they are doing just that.

Their photographs have been taken in locations all around Adelaide - including the Fleurieu Peninsula, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, and more.

You can follow Studio 1836 on Facebook , or Instagram .

6) Inspired Photography Collective

Inspired Photography Collective is a group of part time photographers who love life, like to travel, and enjoy the discovery of new and inspiring sights. Their spectacular shots are inspired by nature, and serve as inspiration through image.

Primarily, their work showcases the rurality and earthly charm of Greater Adelaide - including the Flinders Rangers, and the Yorke Peninsula. However, they also produce a number of detailed and naturally stunning images from locations closer to Adelaide. It's hard to believe that the shots produced by Inspired Photography Collective are really from our very own state.

5) Didi Photos (Matthew Symons)

Matthew Symons says he never intended to become a photographer, it just sort of came about when his friends and himself tried to start up a magazine and it fell through. But, he should be grateful that the stars aligned in such a way because it is definitely his calling in life. Beginning photography actually allowed Matthew to stop smoking - because his hand was too busy with a camera to hold a cigarette.

His images are a display of magical moments that have been captured with his family on their farm. The landscape imagery that is produced on Didi Photos truly brags South Australia's beauty.

4) Thomas Hauber Photography

Thomas Hauber is another unbelievable photographer based in Adelaide. Predominantly, he snaps up landscapes, cityscapes, and images that revolve around nature and travel. Thomas also does wedding photo shoots to capture couples' important day.

Thomas' photographs capture the eyes of onlookers because of their dreaminess and colour. He often uses popular locations, like Morialta Falls, or the Adelaide CBD, and highlights them in a way that makes the destination look entirely different than what you've seen before.

**3) Earth Art Photography (Benjamin Goode)
**
Earth Art Photography shows rural locations in South Australia in a miraculously captivating manner. The bright colours and almightily wide sweeping landscapes cause everybody who looks at Benjamin's photos to want to visit that destination immediately.

Benjamin Goode says experiencing nature and beautiful scenic locations is something that has always given him a great deal of joy and freedom - so landscape photography is the perfect pursuit for him. He's won some admirable awards, including a 2015 Best Urban Photo.

**2) Ben Heide Photography
**
It was in 2011 when Ben Heide purchased his first DSLR... and his passion for photography has been on a constant incline since then. Remarkably, Ben has not had any formal photography training, but his unbridled experimentation and drive to capture unique interpretations mean that his skills and style are continuously evolving.

Ben updates his social media quite frequently with new images. Typically, they are of locations not too far from Adelaide city. Most are snapped up at metro beaches and show smokey waves and burning sunsets.

You can follow Ben on Facebook , or Instagram .

**1) Michael Waterhouse Photography
**
Michael Waterhouse is a relatively well-known photographer from South Australia. And he certainly deserves to be with the breathtaking images that he consistently produces.

Michael has a great ability to make any location look pleasant, calm and inviting. He always has a great mixture of powerful sky and far-stretching land or city. The best part is that Michael's photographs can be purchased as prints at his website .
