When: Monday-Thursdays: 9am-8pm, Fridays: 9am-5pm & Weekends: 10am-5pm Details: This hidden library inside the stunning State Library features scale, light and a huge number of books, making it one of the most spectacular spaces in Sydney, especially for bibliophiles. 2. The Calyx Where: Royal Botanic Garden, Mrs Macquaries Rd, Sydney When: All year round- 10am-4pm Details: This breathtaking space houses Australia's largest green wall (standing at 6m high and 50m wide) as well as changing exhibits and an array of different flora and events, including everything from chocolate making to a botanically-inspired high tea. 4. The Foyer at 50 Martin Place
Where: 50 Martin Place, Martin Place
Details: Built in 1928 as the Government Savings Bank of NSW and restored to architectural glory in 2015, this stunning foyer is guaranteed to take your breath away! 5. Wylie's Baths
Where: 4b Neptune St, Coogee
When: All year round
Details: Sitting on the less populated end of the famous Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, Wylie's Baths are undeniably gorgeous with the ocean pool sitting beneath the towering headland which provides uninterrupted views out to Wedding Cake Island and back into Coogee Beach. 6. Paddington Reservoir Gardens

Details: Previously home to a functioning reservoir, parking garage and petrol station, these secret gardens have been beautifully planned to breathe new life into their old bones. They sit below street level and are full of echoing chambers and wide walkways. The space has a distinct historic feel and the bonus is that not many people know about these splendid gardens!
