The list below includes secret beaches across Sydney…well, it is no secret anymore with my cheeky list of hidden beach gems.
1. Shelly Beach
Being part of Cabbage Tree Bay, this hidden gem can be reached by kayak or a short walk from Manly and it features a fantastic spot for snorkelling and diving. The beach alone is definitely worth a visit as it is less populated and scenic.

2. Chinaman's Beach
Located in the Mosman region and just a kilometre north of Balmoral Beach this 250 metre stretch of sand offers calm ocean waters, making it perfect for the kids.

3. Redleaf Beach**
This beach features a wraparound pontoon and a large, netted swimming area making it a safe beach to take a dip. It is located in Double Bay on New South Head Rd, Double Bay.
4. Shark Beach
This quiet beach located in Vaucluse within Sydney Harbour National Park is almost secluded and offers a netted swimming area and it is perfect for snorkelling too! It is located in Neilson Park.
