Top Restaurants in the Perth Hills
The Perth Hills area is only about forty-five minuets away from the Perth CBD and not only boasts stunning scenery but also has a wide range of excellent restaurants.
Perth Hills covers quite a few different areas including Kalamunda, Mundaring, Gooseberry Hill and Roleystone. These areas are very popular because they not only offer beautiful Australian bushland, peace and tranquility but they are also a wonderful backdrop for fine dining.
The Best Drop Tavern offers some fantastic lunch specials for just $15.00 each. Available each day between 12noon and 4pm, enjoy such things as Salt and Pepper Calamari, Fish and Chips, BLT, Veal Schnitzel, or a Chef's Steak Sandwich.
There are always meal deals and specials available. For instance, during February they are running an 'Entree Extravaganza' which means you can get Bruschetta, Garlic Bread or a bowl of chips for $5.00 each, or an entree sized serving of delicious Sizzling Garlic Prawns for $10.00.

The bistro menu has a wide range of starters, light meals and main meals, plus there is also a good childrens menu with a choice of meals costing just $10.00 each.
Embers Italian Restaurant
Embers Italian Restaurant in Gooseberry Hill offers a wide range of quality food and beverages at reasonable prices. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, their menus are diverse and full of delicious light meals, starters, desserts, and plenty of main meal options including Seafood, Pasta, Wood-Fired Pizza and more.
The dessert menu has plenty of options including Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Sticky Date Pudding and Mousse for around just $8.00 each.
Children haven't been forgotten either and can choose a meal from the special kids menu, which includes such things as Chicken Parmigiana, Seafood Basket, Steak and Chips and Pasta.
Embers also has a great take-away menu plus they offer a convenient delivery service, so that you can enjoy their delicious food at home.
The Parkerville Tavern Restaurant is a lovely old family style pub housed in a double storey federation building. The popular restaurant offers good food and relaxed surroundings, and children are welcome.
Open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, the menu is large and diverse but there are also lots of weekly specials, snacks and light meals, a special Sunday menu, Dish of the Day and a kids menu.
There are plenty of dining options including lots of home-cooked favourites such as Chicken Parmigiana, Steak and Guinness Pie, Wood-Fired Pizza or Sticky BBQ Ribs. Enjoy a meal in the cosy indoors or out in the alfresco area, while the kids play in the playground.
The Inn Mahogany Creek has been a Western Australian favourite for over one hundred and eighty years, and provide an assortment of meals and beverages to hungry locals and visitors.
Dining at The Bistro gives you a chance to sample some of the best local produce available, including marron and trout, a range of meats and poultry and an assortment of fresh fish and seafood.
Patrons can dine in the modern Bistro or grab some food and a drink and sit on the deck in the outdoor area. The Bistro menu and the Bar Garden menu both have lots of options, plus great daily specials.

Great list, I've been to the first one a few times but didn't know about the other ones. Most times when we go to the hills for the day we don't know where to go for lunch or dinner so we end coming back and going out in Perth!
