Treat your mum to the best in lunch time eating
It is that time once again; time to spoil your mother and think about where you will take this precious person for her special 2018 day.
This list will give you some idea, however, you need to book early as most venues are booked out weeks before actual Mother's Day.
1. FRASERS RESTAURANT
This restaurant always appears in "top places to eat" as it is just that - a top place to eat! You cannot go past the service, food, or ambience at this long-running restaurant that has never failed to serve excellent food with a delightful outlook over Kings Park.
Rochelle Adnois is known for the excellent high tea there, and this Mother's Day High Tea will be one that is slightly different for your Mum. Treat Mum to a delectable afternoon with the signature Rochelle Adonis High Tea experience. Here you will receive a glass of champagne on arrival and every mum is given a gift to take home. There are two sittings - at 12 noon and 2 pm, and the cost is $75 per person.
3. PORTOFINOS Portofinos is located on Quinns Beach, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking 180 degrees of uninterrupted views of the ocean. Portofinos Restaurant has an a-la-carte menu, offering a fresh and modern version on Mediterranean cuisine, and also serves good wines. You can book for the restaurant or their cafe for Mother's Day lunch here.
4. MISS MAUD Miss Maud is a long established cafe in the city with branches in several suburbs. They do a special Mother's Day Smorgasbord with a FREE glass of sparkling wine and a flower and chocolate on arrival, as well as live entertainment. 5. CAVERSHAM HOUSE
What better way to spoil your mum than by taking her to Caversham House this Mother`s Day. Their gardens are picturesque and champers will be flowing!
They will also have live entertainment, as well as live cooking stations and buffet. Cost for a 5-course lunch will be $85 per adult and $35 per child, with wine, orange and apple juice, tea and coffee included. You can view their menu here, and for an extra special touch, Caversham House will be giving a gift of pearl earrings, from Dahlia Pearls in Broome, to every mum on the day.
6. RED CABBAGE Bring your mum and enjoy a 3-course lunch and a glass of champagne for Mum for only $59 pp from 12.30 pm on.
You can make your booking here, but hurry as being a new restaurant, places for Mother's Day lunch will probably fill quickly. Their menu is not huge, however, it looks very interesting and can be seen here.
