Even though the weather is cold, there will still be some good markets in Perth. At most of these markets, you can buy exclusive items of all sorts.

The following is a list of a few of them which should be worth going to.

1. LiveLighter FREE SJ Community Fair
All the fun of the fair will be coming to Mundijong for a fun and entertaining day. This will be held on Saturday, 11th August 2018, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on Paterson Street, Mundijong.

There will be a huge line up on display and some of these will be as follows:

Art, Photography, Textiles, Metalwork and Woodwork in the building
Street entertainment throughout the day featuring the Highland Pipe Band and African Drumming Band
Sideshow alley including show-bags
Market stalls
Food vans and stalls
Animal farm for the children
Landcare will host Ranger Red, SJ Food & Farm Alliance, Roger's Native Seedling trailer, Dieback Working Group, Didier Walks, Michelle's Buzzy Bee Wax Wraps, Colleen's Homemade Bags
Batting cage for t-ball kids at the Byford Bushrangers stand
Slot cars
Vintage motorcycles
Vintage tractor display

2. Kalamunda Artisans Market
This one will be on 4th August from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm, in the Central Mall, Kalamunda.

This is organised by the Rotary Club of Kalamunda and there will be hundreds of stalls at this market. They will have a good range of unique creations, as well as famous makers and growers from around the Perth Hills areas.

Here you can shop, eat and experience the best Perth and the Perth Hills region have to offer! This will be a great day out for the whole family, with all funds raised going to local charitable projects.

3. Indoor WA Market
This market will be on 1st September, from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm at Loftus Street, (between Vincent and Newcastle Streets) Leederville.

Bring along your family and friends to these free markets! They are held by Exclusive Couture Events and there will be a lot of amazing stalls as well as delicious food. This is an indoor market so it does not matter what the weather is like outside!

4. Art Upmarket
This Art Market will be on 25th August, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. It will be held at Winthrop Hall, University of Western Australia, Stirling Highway, Crawley.

This is a new event and is all about connecting art lovers with Western Australian artists.

The market will bring together over 50 of Perth's most talented artists. They will all under one roof at the University of Western Australia's Winthrop Hall undercroft.

Some of the things you will find here are paintings, fine art photography, limited edition prints, sculptures, decorative glass and ceramics, illustrations and more.

Both parking on the grounds and entry are free. The venue is easily accessible.

5. Perth Upmarket
This market will be held at Winthrop Hall, University of WA, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley. This event will be held on Sunday 16th September, from 10.00 am till 4.00 pm.

Perth Upmarket is Perth's top market for original and handcrafted items. The market brings together over 180 of Perth's most talented artists, designers, craftsmen. Also at these markets will be a whole gourmet food section, as well as a dedicated Junior Upmarket.

Parking and entry are free on the site, and there are ATM machines also on site. This is a perfect event to shop local, find some high-quality unique gifts and enjoy delicious locally made food and coffee!
