1. Boom! International Festival of Percussion
When: Saturday, 1st-8th October 2022

Details: The festival will celebrate percussion in all its many styles from around the world, including Afro Latin, Asian, Western orchestral, popular & art music. 2. Looking for Alibrandi

Details: The Italian-Australian play is based on Melina Marchetta's beloved novel of migration. 3.The Big Bounce

11. Sydney Craft Week Festival
When: Friday, 7th-16th October 2022: 9am-9pm
Where: Various locations across Sydney & New South Wales

Details: The Festival will focus on the climate emergency, sustainable practice, and making a difference in the environment. 12. Anatomy of a Suicide

15. Family Musical Fun with Tubby the Tuba

16. The Mousetrap

Where: Theatre Royal, 108 King St, Sydney

Details: The production will present the enduring and much-loved murder mystery, The Mousetrap, based on the novel by Agatha Christie. 17.Simon Tedeschi & the Orava Quartet

19. Ravel's Piano Concerto

Details: Jean-Efflam Bavouzet will bring his technical versatility and flair to Ravel's colourful Piano Concerto in G. 20. Past The Shallows

Details: Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) and Archipelago Productions present Julian Lanarch's adaptation of Favel Parrett's The Shallows.

The Shallows is about Harry and Miles, who live with their father, an abalone diver, on the wild and beautiful south coast of Tasmania. With their Mum dead and their alcoholic father largely absent, they look after each other as best they can. Details: The Zen Tea Lounge Foundation (Sydney's not-for-profit foundation that eliminates domestic violence in Australia) will host its annual 100 Women in Solidarity event.
