2. Live-entertainment @ Wirra Wirra
Enjoy 'Live Entertainment' every 3rd Sunday of the month at the well-known
Wirra Wirra Vineyards.
BBQ/Picnic facilities are available on the site. The winery offers also cheese & local produce platters during your stay. BYO is not allowed, but you can buy their great wines directly from the cellar door.

3. Gorgeous Festival
The
Gorgeous Festival takes place once a year in McLaren Vale. It is the perfect event to showcase the regions fabulous food and produces and their award-winning wines. But not only food and wine will be presented at this great event. Famous musicians perform on two stages and local artists present their creations and designs.
This year's headliner is Missy Higgins, who will play from 9.30 to 11 pm. She is a successful singer-songwriter and produced numerous No. 1 albums in Australia. Her most successful singles are "Scar", "The Special Two", "Steer" and "Where I Stood". Don't miss this fabulous artist.
Additionally to these amazing artists you enjoy great food from some excellent restaurants in the region, such as Fino, d'Arry's Verandah, The Current Shed, The Victory Hotel & Blessed Cheese. The menu will be perfected with nine of the top wines from McLaren Vale wineries, including Wirra Wirra, Paxton, d'Arenberg, Shottesbrooke, Dogridge, Hugh Hamilton, Alpha Box and Dice, Battle of Bosworth & Yangarra Estate.

4. Chapel Hill Hands on Sunday Cooking Classes
You want to learn how to cook something special? Then you need to attend the Cooking Classes at
Chapel Hill.
The theme is Santa phobia.
Boar, snowmen and gingerbread, break out the egg nog, bad Santa is coming to town.
After finishing your newly learned recipes, you will enjoy the prepared dishes, matched with Chapel Hill wines, with all participants. If you want to bring a friend with you, this person pays only $95 for lunch.
