The list below of top indoor play centres across North Sydney is the perfect activity for the little ones to enjoy when it is raining, too cold, too windy and even if it is too hot!

It is the perfect "poor" weather escape as the kids run around having fun in a safe environment.

1. Wizzy World
Where: Unit 9, 372 Eastern Valley Way, Chatswood
When: Monday-Thursday: 9:15am-2pm & Friday-Sunday: 9:15am-6pm

Details: This indoor play centre features a three-storey (6.5m) high state of the art Play Frame. Each storey is 2 metres high, making it perfect for us adults to supervise the kids. The play centre includes flying fox, spinners, ball pool, walk of faith, 3 level wavy astro slides, 3 level fast slide, 3 level spiral slide, boulder dash, web climbs, spider bungee, rope bridge and much more.

There is also a dedicated toddler area which features soft toys, bouncy castle and play frame, while the older kids can practice mini soccer, netball and basketball at the Unique Sports Zone. Details: Located at the top floor of Macquarie Shopping Centre, this is the rainy day saviour. The play centre includes a huge open area with tables, different areas for the kids to play in, adventure and exciting activities. The play centre is suitable for children under 11 years old. Details: This indoor play centre is all about learning whilst having fun. The play centre features a traditional kids play structure, child-size city featuring fire and police stations, hospital, post office, restaurant, gym, and TV Studio, the kids can dress up and make their own adventures, 6 metre rock climbing wall, laser lit concert stage and for the toddlers there is a soft play area and construction site. 4. Kidz Connexion Play centre & Café

Details: This play centre is a bit different to other play centres, it features an outdoor (but all covered) play area. There is a two storey climbing frame, slides, ball pit, large spring-free trampoline, see-saw and a separate area with balancing equipment, trikes, scooters, smaller climbing frames and bouncy balls. 5. Softplay at Sportsbliss

Details: This indoor play centre features two separate areas; 0-2 years and another play area for older children. The soft play area features sprung floor with soft play equipment and soft toys. The older kids area (3-11yrs) includes a 3-storey soft play playground, ball pit, slides, an array of climbing and obstacle levels. There is no café onsite, however, there is a coffee machine. 9. Cheeky Monkeys Play House
