New Year's Eve is on its way and although Newcastle won't be having its usual firework display, it doesn't mean that the city won't be rocking! See below for just a small taste of what's on around Newey to celebrate the end of 2020!
Honeysuckle SOCIAL will be bringing the magic of FIRE & ICE to life - by putting 2020 on ice and get ready for a flaming 2021! New Year's Eve Celebration – Paddle & Pizza is a fun event on Newcastle Harbour! Go on a Paddle & Pizza tour and see Newcastle from the water as participants paddle in double sea kayaks, departing from Carrington Boat Ramp. They will provide all the equipment and you choose the pizza from the Crust menu. Minimum age of participants is 8 years old (must be accompanied by parent or guardian) and their kayaks are fitted with lighting as per NSW Maritime regulations. Tickets cost $100. See

HogWatts New Year's Eve Banquet is a Harry Potter dining event, which will be held at the historic 48 Watt Street. Join them for a 2-course dinner and drinks package (beer, wine, soft drink) set within the amazing Great Hall at Hog Watts. There will be Butter Beer on tap and a range of spellbinding potions from the bar. As this is an official School of HogWatts event, all students are expected to dress in full school uniform!
