Movies are always far better than sitting home and watching television - with your popcorn or chocolate bomb, you can sit back, watch the large screen movies and forget about your troubles for a while!

This is a list of 9 top movies that will be on during November 2018.

1. THOU SHALL NOT GROW OLD
This is directed by Peter, Jackson who has an interest in WW1. This is a documentary with footage that has never been seen before and is to commemorate the centennial of the end of WW1.

It will be released on 11th November 2018.



2. COLDPLAY: A HEAD FULL OF DREAMS
Mat Whitecross explains Coldplay's journey from its origins to super-stardom. This features live performances and footage taken backstage from one of their tours. There is also previously not seen footage that has been collected over 20 years.

This will be released on 14th November.



3. FANTASTIC BEASTS 3D: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD
This is the second of five all-new adventures in J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. At the end of the first film, the Dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald was captured by Magical Congress of the United States of America, with the help of Newt Scamande.

Now Grindelwald has escaped custody and is collecting followers, in order to raise pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings.

Starring Johnny Depp, Katherine Waterston, and Ezra Miller, this will be released in both 3D and 2D on 15th November.



4. THE OLD MAN & THE GUN
This is a true story and Robert Redford plays Forrest Tucker. He was a man who escaped from San Quentin at 70 years of age and went on to do more robberies.

This should be excellent and stars Robert Redford, Sissy Spacek, and Casey Affleck. It will be released on 15th November.



5. STRANGE COLOURS
This is the story of Milena, who goes to a remote opal mining community to see her estranged, ill father. She feels lost and alone, however after a while, her father does not want her to leave. They then try to mend their relationship.

This film stars Daniel P. Jones, Justin Courtin, Kate Cheel, and will be released on 22nd November.

6. THE CHILDREN ACT
This complex legal drama is based on Ian McEwan's lauded novel about a judge who is forced to decide on a child's fate.

It stars Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Fionn Whitehead, and will be released on 22nd November.



7. WIDOWS
This heist thriller is actually based on the 1983 television series and is co-written with Gone Girl author, Gillian Flynn. The movie is set in Chicago in the middle of a time of turmoil. There are four women who really have nothing in common with each other apart from the fact that each has a debt left behind by their dead husbands' criminal activities.

This movie stars Carrie Coon, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Colin Farrell, Liam Neeson, Daniel Kaluuya, Viola Davis, Robert Duvall, and it will be released on 22nd November.



8. LEAN ON PETE
This is about a 15-year-old old boy named Charley, who lives with his alcoholic father in a run-down house. In order to help his father, Charley gets a job at the racetrack where he makes friends with trainer Del and a burnt-out jockey, Bonnie. This is while he is caring for an old horse named Lean on Pete. The story evolves around the horse and Charley.

This film is based on the novel of the same name, and stars Chloe Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Travis Fimmel, Charlie Plummer, Steve Zahn, Thomas Mann, Amy Seimetz, and Frank Gallegos. It will be released on 29th November.



9. NORMANDY NUDE
Philippe Le Guay has co-written this film and directs this story of a proud farming community who must now put all their grievances aside in order to save their village.

This is a French movie with English sub-titles, and it will be released on 29th November.
