All these movies will be released during March, 2018 on various dates throughout the month, and these are my top picks. For actual release dates, go to your local cinema site.

There are more movies being released in March, and this is a list of movies for mature audiences only.

[b] 1. FILM STARS DON'T DIE IN LIVERPOOL[/b]
Annette Bening and Jamie Bell star in this adaptation of British actor Peter Turner's memoir, directed by Emmy-nominee Paul McGuigan.



It is a romantic narrative movie and tells his story of Peter Turner falling for ageing Hollywood actress Gloria Grahame in Liverpool, only to face reality when she is diagnosed with breast cancer.

As the romance continues, they go from England to Los Angeles, and from the limelight to a hospital when the fun turns to tears.

[b]2. RED SPARROW[/b]
Starring Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Lawrence, who is a Russian spy who falls for a CIA officer. This thriller is based on the novel of the same name.

Dominika Egorova is many things, including a devoted daughter determined to protect her mother at all costs, and she joins the Sparrow School and turns out to be the most dangerous person ever to go through this gruelling school. She must now reconcile the person she was with the power she now commands.

[b]3. THE GATEWAY[/b]
If you like science fiction, this movie is a must. Starring Jacqueline McKenzie and Myles Pollard, this movie runs for 90 minutes and is about a physicist who travels to a parallel world to find her late husband.

This is an award-winning Australian film about Jane Chandler, who finds an "alternate version" of her husband in the parallel world, and you can see the trailer here:

[b]4. IN THE FADE[/b]
Golden Globe-winning thriller from acclaimed German director Fatih Akin, starring Diane Kruger in her first German-language feature.



Katja's life collapses in the aftermath of a bomb attack that kills her husband and son, but after the time of mourning and injustice, she seeks revenge.

Aawarded Best Foreign Language Film at the 2018 Golden Globes, this movie runs for 106 minutes. The trailer can be seen here:

[b]5. THAT'S NOT MY DOG[/b]
This is another Australian movie featuring Shane Jacobson as himself and Paul Hogan.

It is a comedy which runs for 87 minutes, and Jacobson has his funniest celebrity mates over for a night of joke-telling in this party comedy.

Among those invited to his barbecue are over 30 of Australia's biggest screen stars, as well as Aussie music icons like Ross Wilson and The Black Sorrows.

[b]6. THE LEISURE SEEKER[/b]
Oscar winner Helen Mirren, and two-time Golden Globe winner, Donald Sutherland star in this drama about an elderly couple.



The husband ends up with Alzheimer's, and they take a final road trip along Route 66 to Disneyland in their faithful old RV, which is called The Leisure Seeker.

This movie runs for 112 minutes and is based on the novel of the same name, and you can see the trailer here:

[b]7. THE OTHER SIDE OF HOPE[/b]
This looks very interesting and moving, and is the story of a friendship between a Syrian refugee and a restaurant owner. It is the winner of the Berlinale Silver Bear for Best Director, and the young refuge arrives in Helsinki as a stowaway and applies for asylum, and the story goes on from there.

[b]8. READY PLAYER ONE[/b]
This is a science fiction movie which will also be released in 3-D and it is sure to be brilliant. Directed by Steven Spielberg, it is about billionaire Massively Multiplayer Online game creator, who posthumously challenges his game's players to find his Easter Egg.

His "Easter Egg" is his entire fortune and this movie is a thriller, based on the hit novel of the same name. Set in the year 2045, it should be fascinating and especially with the enhanced 3-D.

[b]9. THE MERCY[/b]
This movie stars Colin Firth and Rachael Weisz and is a drama based on Donald Crowhurst's fatal 1968 attempt at yachting victory.

[b]10. THE DIVINE ORDER[/b]
This is a movie with Swiss German subtitles and stars Marie Leuenberger, Maximilian Simonischek. It is about women from a small Swiss village who campaign for women's right to vote ahead of the crucial 1971 ballot.

Nora lives a quiet life, however, is encouraged by some of the women in her village to fight for her rights.
