The gallery of the Fox Creek Cellar Door offers a selection of landscapes, seascapes and contemporary work by Neil Sheppard.

Shep's work encompasses a wide range of styles and subjects from impressionist landscapes, seascapes, naive, abstract and contemporary. He loves to use lots of bold colour to create soft, moody and organic atmosphere through his pieces.

Visiting the gallery is a perfect combination with a wine tasting at Fox Creek Vinery with their award winning wines.

2. Cheese making @ Tintookie Vineyards

You like cheese? Then join the team of Tintookie Vinejards in making Fresh Curd, Chèvre, Feta, Haloumi, Ricotta and Camembert. Start an exciting morning with meeting and milking the 2 goats, followed by the magic of turning milk into marvelous cheese. After this very special experience, you can enjoy lunch prepared by Lulu & Grace accompanied with great wines from Dowie Doole. But this is not all! You are able to test the selection of Grace's specialty cheeses from all over the word and you can take home all the cheeses you have made.

3. Bank SA Sea & Vines Festival

With June the winter season starts and the temperatures get colder. But this month starts as well with a very special festival for the McLaren Vale wine region. The first long weekend in June will be a celebration of the very unique flavours and products of this beautiful region. Within three days, you have the choice from more than 40 venues. And each of them have their own unique style. From Wine. Food. Music. Tastings. Friends. Long Lunches. Degustations. Culinary Master Classes. Meet the Makers. Picnics. Family and Kids. Fresh Produce.

On Saturday you can choose from
- a "Trip through Europe" @ Pertaringa,
- a "Back Vintage Dinner" @ Woodstock,
- "The Yearlings & 3 course Dinner" @ Kay Brothers
- "Brian Cadd LIVE" @ Maxwells

For Sunday Experience events bookings are essential. A ticket costs $25 which includes the entry into up to 3 of your selected Experience venues together with a Plumm Vintage Outdoor glass. Most of the well-known wineries of the wine region are offering delicious food accompanied with their great wines as well as hot live music and kids entertainment.

The Monday Zest events are free and no reservations necessary. Just show up on the day, purchase a festival glass and visit as many wineries as you can choose from. You will be surprised from how many different venues you can take your pick. But first you should probably select a designated driver or arrange for a private bus tour

4. Live-entertainment @ Wirra Wirra

Enjoy 'Live Entertainment' every 3rd Sunday of the month at the well-known Wirra Wirra Vineyards.

BBQ/Picnic facilities are available on the site. The winery offers also cheese & local produce platters during your stay. BYO is not allowed, but you can buy their great wines directly from the cellar door.
