1. BANFF Mountain Film Festival
When: 2 May 2017
Where: Seymour Centre, City Rd, Chippendale
Cost: Adults: $24.50pp & Children: $17pp
Details: The world's most prestigious mountain film festival is back on again this year and it will feature over 2.5 hours of the most enthralling mountain adventure films. 2. Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra
When: 5 May 2017
Where: Sydney Opera House, Bennelong Point, Sydney
Cost: Tickets range from $38.80-$118.80pp
Details: For the first time ever in Australia, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will perform. The concert will feature internationally acclaimed Jaap van Zweden conducting and renowned violinist Ning Feng as soloist. The orchestra will present two programmes. Click here for the website.

3. At Night Event

Where: Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre, 782 Kingsway, Gymea

6. Coffee 4 Kids Charity Ball

Where: Luna Park, 1 Olympic Drive, Milsons Point
Cost: Fundraising event
Details: Founded by the NSW Rural Fire Service Members, this Charity Ball will help raise much-needed funds for the most vulnerable little people in the community; Child Protection Unit at the Children's Hospital Westmead, who treat children and babies who have been victims of abuse. Details: This fundraising event is for all ages and fitness levels with teams of 10-15 people challenging themselves to keep their baton moving in a relay-style walk or run around the picturesque Don Lucas Reserve.
