The Sunshine Coast will be hosting an array of events this May. There will be something for all ages & interests.

The list below includes both free and ticketed events:

1. Maleny Wood Expo
When: 29 April 2017- 1 May 2017
Where: Maleny Showgrounds, Maleny Stanley River Rd, Maleny
Cost: Adults: $15pp, Children under 16yrs free & Concession: $12pp
Details: Celebrating 21 years this iconic event will feature all things timber with one of the best wood shows in Australia. There will be wood exhibitors, sustainable harvested native timbers, weed or recycled timbers, crafted wood products, talks, workshops, competitions, kids workshops & activities, entertainment, food stalls and more. 2. Gympie Garden Expo
When: 6-7 May 2017- 6th: 8am-4pm & 7th: 8am-3pm
Where: Gympie Showgrounds, 77 Exhibition Rd, Gympie
Cost: Adults: $5pp & Children free

3. Sunshine Coast Wedding Expo
When: 7 May 2017: 10am-3pm
Where: Maroochy RSL, Memorial Ave, Maroochydore

4. Ultraman Australia
When: 13-15 May 2017

Details: This multi-day triathlon will feature over three days consisting of a 10km swim & 145km bike ride, 276km bike ride and 84.3km run. Click here for the website.

5. Cooroy Fusion Festival
When: 13 May 2017: 9:30am-3pm
Where: Cooroy Mill Place, 9 Maple St, Cooroy

6. Noosa Food & Wine Festival
When: 18-21 May 2017
Where: Various locations across Noosa

Details: This event is certainly for all foodie & wine lovers. The Festival will feature over 70 events with an exciting program of activities, visiting chefs, cooking demonstrations, food tastings & samplings, food stalls, pop-ups, 50 wineries, 100 food producers, entertainment, workshops and more. 7. Big Pineapple Music Festival
