This May there will be plenty of free & ticketed events for all ages, interests and budgets to enjoy throughout the Inner West.

The List below features Events including festivals, community events, fairs, markets, workshops, classes, music, concerts, family-friendly and more:

1. Sydney Writer's Festival: Troll Hunting with Ginger Gorman
When: Thursday, 2 May 2019: 6:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Ashfield Town Hall, 260 Liverpool Rd, Ashfield
Cost: Free
Details: Join Ginger Gorman in conservation with Lex Hirst as they explore harrowing stories of predator trolling, cyber hate victims and the systematic failures of social media companies and law enforcement to keep us safe as well as possible solutions to this growing issue. 2. Make and Create: Origami Forget-me-not Workshop
When: Friday, 3 May 2019: 10:30am-12:30pm

3. Star Wars Party

5. A Festival of Music
When: Sunday, 5 May 2019: 2pm-4pm
Where: Leichhardt Town Hall, Cnr Marion & Norton Streets, Leichhardt
Cost: Adults: $5pp & Family: $10
Details: This festival will present a varied mix of bright entertaining music with audience participation. There will be classics, jazz, rock n' roll, movie themes and contemporary hits. Afternoon tea will also be served at the Event around 2:30pm. Click here for the website.



6. Welcome Creative Hub Workshops
When: Monday, 6 May 2019: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Wharf Road Recreation Hall, (Building 504), Wharf Rd, Callan Park
Cost: $30pp

Details: This event will showcase Sami Blood- a Swedish movie about a reindeer-breeding Sami girl who is exposed to the racism of the 1930s at her boarding school and starts dreaming about another life.
