This May, Dunedin is showcasing plenty of events to keep all interests and ages entertained.

The list below features both free & ticketed events:

1. Foster & Allen- Golden Years
When: 1 May 2018: 7pm-9:30pm
Where: Dunedin Town Hall, Moray Place, Dunedin
Cost: $75pp
Details: This concert will feature legendary Irish folk music. Foster & Allen have 30 new-release charting albums over a 40-year career, the only act in the world to do so! Be sure not to miss this event, especially for all you music enthusiasts. Click here for the website.



2. iDDunedin Fashion Week
When: 3 May & 4 May 2018: From 8pm
Where: Dunedin Town Hall, Moray Place, Dunedin
Cost: Tickets range from $45-$299pp
Details: Experience the future of fashion with this event. The event will showcase 44 collections from 46 of the world's top emerging fashion designers, inspiring catwalk show, cash prizes, special prizes and more. Click here for the website.



3. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical
When: 3-12 May 2018: 7:30pm-10pm
Where: Regent Theatre, 17 The Octagon, Dunedin
Cost: Tickets range from $49.50-$139.50pp
Details: Due to popular demand, additional shows have been added, giving you more opportunity to enjoy this concert that is based on the Oscar-winning movie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The musical is a heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop abroad a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could have ever dreamed of. 4. World Peach Chanting Buddhist Event
When: 6 May: 10:30am-12pm
Where: SGINZ Dunedin Activity Centre, 43 Manor Place, Dunedin

5. Yoga with the Butterflies
When: 10 May 2018: 5:45pm-7pm
Where: Otago Museum, 419 Great King St, Dunedin

6. Highlanders vs Lions

7. Jennian Homes Mother's Day Fun Run/Walk
When: 13 May 2018: 10am-12pm
Where: Hancock Park, Victoria Rd & John Wilson Ocean Drive, Dunedin
Cost: Adults: $25pp & Children under 14yrs: $15pp
Details: This nationwide event returns back this year and is offering women the chance to have fun, get active and support a worthy cause. The event will feature a run, walk or a leisurely stroll with family and friends. Each entrant will receive a souvenir event t-shirt. 8. The Big Bike Film Night

10. Motivational Interviewing Workshop
When: 18 May 2018: 9am-3pm
Where: Dunedin Public Art Gallery, 30 The Octagon, Dunedin

11. Autism Workshop

13. Teddy Bear Hospital Community Day
When: 26 May 2018: 10:30am-2:30pm
Where: Hunter Centre, Fredrick St, Dunedin
Cost: Free
Details: This family-friendly event will be filled with fun and will include a check-up by the 'teddy doctors' and 'teddy dentists'. The aim of the event is to create a positive medical experience for young children as for some, visiting the doctor and dentist can be an anxious experience. 14. The Nook & Cranny Music Festival
When: 27 May 2018: 11am-4pm
Where: Dunedin City Library, 230 Moray Place, Dunedin
