Summer is now history and it will start to cool off a bit soon. Now is the ideal time to go to a market or two, or three to pick up all manner of unique items.

Here is a list to help you decide which one, or ones, you would like to attend.

[b]Ebenezer Night Markets[/b] will be on 9th March from 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm. They will be held at Ebenezer Place, just off Rundle Street. These markets will have fashion, jewellery, delicious food and all sorts of unique artistic creations! There will even be a Market Bar where you can sit and listen to the live DJ play some tunes while enjoying the East End atmosphere.

[b]Twilight Markets at Eighty Eight O'Connell[/b] - happening on 16th March, these are twilight markets from 3 pm to 8 pm. The address is 88 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide.

There will be some very talented makers and small businesses in this market. You can eat the South Australian foods or even have a picnic on the green lawns while enjoying the atmosphere. There will also be local buskers roaming the markets during the last weekend of the Fringe Festival.

[b]Wattle Street Market[/b] will take place on 23rd March, from 10 am to 3.30 pm at 85 Wattle Street, Fullarton. These markets are held monthly and feature local artist and creators. Why not go to this pop-up garden market in the heart of the Eastern suburbs in Fullarton to discover some unusual items? The stalls here will have fashion, accessories, organic soy candles, skin and body care, towels and linen, art, homewares, lunch and snack options.

[b]Creative Lifestyle Market[/b] is on 24th March and then again on 28th April, from 10 am. It will be held at Third Street, Bowden. These fully air-conditioned markets are known for their fascinating products. There will be many local stallholders and businesses which will feature up and coming designers, local vintage and preloved goods, henna and much more.

They also will have a large variety of street style food stalls, in-house eateries and a mezzanine bar serving up the best local drinks during the day.

Once you have finished shopping, you can go to Bowden Park, where there is a water playground and fully accessible BBQ areas.

[b]Gathered Design Market[/b] will be on 30th and 31st March, from 10 am to 3 pm, at Queens Theatre, Playhouse Lane & Gilles Arcade, Adelaide. They will have acoustic entertainment, workshops, and food and drinks. All this amongst beautifully styled spaces showcasing homewares, candles, flowers, jewellery, kids, art, clothing, garden, skincare and more.

At this market, you can drink some wine or eat Vietnamese street food, burgers, curries, paella, waffles, sweet treats, coffee and much more. Also, listen to live music.

But wait, there's more! There are workshops, ranging from watercolour painting to spoon carving.

[b]Mother Earth's Marketplace[/b] will be on 7th April, from 10 am to 4 pm at Greenwith Community Centre, The Golden Way, Greenwith. Entry to this market will cost $2 and you will be able to buy some amazing products and eat delicious, healthy lunch and snacks. There will also be some workshops.

From handmade jewellery to upcycled wares, this will be a very interesting market with organic produce.

[b]ABC Gardeners' Market[/b] will be on 13th April, from 8 am to 1 pm at the ABC Adelaide, 85 North East Road, Collinswood.

The ABC Adelaide event is co-hosted with the Adelaide Botanic Gardens & Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide. Entry is by gold coin donation and all proceeds will support the Friends of the Botanic Gardens.

The market, in its 27th year, is known for its selection of affordable, rare and essential gardening items. They also have international food, family entertainment, gardening advice, live radio shows and free ABC studio tours.

[b]Mt Pleasant Easter Twilight Farmers Market[/b] will be on 18th April, from 5 pm to 9 pm. They will be at Southern Barossa, Mount Pleasant Showgrounds, Melrose Street, Mount Pleasant. You can buy all your fresh produce for the Easter period here at their twilight market. There will be a lot of variety including beef, free range pork, fish, wine, beer, fruit and vegetables, sweet treats, chocolates, artisan bread, cooked foods, eggs, olive oil, spices, honey and more.

The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance and there will be live music from local artists.

[b]Barossa Made Market - Vintage Festival[/b] will be on the 26th April from 10 am to 5 pm at My Barossa, 66 Murray Street, Tanunda. You can start the day at the historic Ziegenmarket followed by a short stroll to the Barossa Made Market at the Tanunda Town Square and Festival Hub.

The Barossa Made Market will showcase the talents of artists, craftspeople and local producers in a family-friendly atmosphere. You can have wine, many market stalls to shop at including jewellery, pots, wine, food, textiles, cards, stationery, bags and more! Purchase authentic Barossa made products – hand made in the Barossa. There will be children's activities from 12 noon to 3 pm and you can get more information at their Facebook page.
