The list below features festivals, shows, fairs, family-friendly events and more.

1. Irish Mythen
When: Sunday, 1 March 2020: 7pm-11pm
Where: Royal Oak Hotel, 14 Brisbane St, Launceston
Cost: $15pp

2. Soggy Bottom Cardboard Boat Regatta
When: Sunday, 1 March 2020: 10am-2:30pm
Where: Waverley Lake, Launceston

Details: This community and family-friendly event will showcase a day of fun and entertainment. There will be boat races on the lake as well as dry races on land, games, activities, contests, competitions, and more. Click here for the website.



3. Launceston Night Market
When: Friday, 6 March 2020: 5pm-9pm
Where: Civic Square, Launceston

4. Sheffield SteamFest
When: Saturday, 7-9 March 2020
Where: Sheffield

Details: This festival will bring history to life with one of the biggest collections of working steam machinery in Australia, train rides, exhibitions, displays, demonstrations, entertainment, blacksmithing, historic machinery, vintage cars, and more. There will also be child-friendly activities and games, market stalls, pop-ups, art & craft, food & drink stalls, and the Krauss Steam Loco running every half hour, all day long. 5. Taste of the North West
When: Sunday, 8 March 2020: 11am-6pm
Where: King George V Park, Sheffield
Cost: Free
Details: This event will showcase Tasmania's North West region's finest food and beverages with a range of regional produce including rabbit pies, German-style smallgoods, sausages, homemade goodies, baked goods, pulled pork tacos, ale & beef pies, locally produced beer, wine, cider, and fruit wine, pop-ups, tasting & sampling, stalls, live entertainment, and more. 6. Forth Valley Blues Festival
When: Friday, 20-22 March 2020
Where: Recreation Ground, Mell St, Forth
