Top Macarthur Attractions (Part 2)

Continued from Part 1 , this list is filled with more exciting, fun and enjoyable attractions across the Macarthur region:

1. Camden Farm Town
When: See website.
Where: Exeter St, Camden
Cost: Free
Details: Sitting on 52 hectares of dairy farm is this working farm, grazing dairy and beef cattle. There are various activities to enjoy like produce markets, community garden, events, fishing competitions and more. Click here for website.

2. Campbelltown Steam & Machinery Museum
When: Opens twice a year- see website.
Where: 86 Menangle Rd, Menangle Park

3. Cobbitty Winery
When: All year round: Monday-Saturday: 9:30am-5:30pm & Sunday:11am-5pm
Where: 40 Cobbitty Rd, Cobbitty

4. Dharawal National Park
When: All year round
Where: Victoria Rd, Wedderburn
Cost: Free
Details: Dharawal was proclaimed a national park in 2012 and it showcases an array of natural attractions with undisturbed and pristine surroundings. You will find sandstones, dense vegetation, rugged bushlands, stunted woodlands, windswept heath, scenic terrain, breathtaking walks, wildlife spotting, bird watching and more. 5. Dredge's Cottage
When: Tuesday & Friday: 9am-2:30pm
Where: 303 Queen St, Campbelltown
Cost: Free
Details: This heritage listed building is home to the Veterans Recreation Centre and is the only one of its kind in Australia. It showcases displays of military memorabilia covering all theatres of conflict from the Boar War 1902 to Vietnam.

6. Fastlane Go Karting

7. Cobbitty Village Markets

8. Frere's Crossing Reserve
When: All year round
Where: Frere's Rd, Kentlyn
Cost: Free
Details: This heritage site features the remnants of an old wooden bridge that formed a part of a connection between Campbelltown and Newcastle up to 1917 and includes one of the most scenic sites along the Georges River in the Campbelltown region. You can enjoy walks, native fauna, bird watching, wildlife spotting, sandstones, woodlands, picnic areas and more.
