Following on from the top kid-friendly February events in Sydney, I now bring you the top kid-friendly events to bring in the first month of autumn. Enjoy the journey Sydney. Remember, some of these events are free while others do come at a cost. These events are presented to you in date order; not in an order of preference.
1. Now & Then Markets - Festive Summer Festival
A family friendly market that is held around five times a year. The stunning backdrop would be what is the magical Cooks River right at Tempe/Wolli Creek. Multiculturalism reigns with a number of international food stalls. The kids of Sydney will love getting their faces painted, as well as the jumping castles to name. The organisers promise some additional treats for the kids. Now and then means vintage and retro meeting contemporary stuff. This market will be held on Sunday the 2nd of March. The theme: Autumn Leaves Festival. There are over 140 free car parking spaces. If coming by train, this event is only a 10-minute walk from Wolli Creek Train Station. 4. Ingleburn live
An annual festival held on the 15th of March. Times and further details are to be advised. Definitely top notch entertainment for the little ones. The event will end with fireworks, and there will be an abundance of rides, entertainment and activities. Free performances from Peppa Pig are available. Feel free to also keep your eyes on the Macarthur council site for further updates as they arise.
Thank you so much Sydney. Have a great March and please watch this space for April.
