1. The National 4
When: Now till Sunday, 24th July 2023
Where: Art Gallery of New South Wales, Art Gallery Rd, Sydney
Cost: Free
Details: This is the fourth edition of a biennial survey of contemporary Australian art. The exhibition showcases work made across Australia by artists of different generations and cultural backgrounds.

2. Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair & The Australian Quilt Show
When: Wednesday, 28th June 2023-1st July 2023: 10am-4pm
Where: The Dome, Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park
Cost: Adults: $25pp, Concession: $20pp, Children (5-16yrs): $10pp, Children under 5yrs: Free, and Family (2 adults 2 kids): $60 per family.
Details: Craft lovers will be in for a treat at this event! There will be exhibitors, workshops, displays, crafts galore, including knitting, crochet, quilting, papercraft, weaving, jewellery making, sewing, cross stitch, patchwork, embroidery, and many more. There will also be guest artists, the Quilt Show, and much more. All tickets include entry in the Quilt Show.

3. Bondi Festival

Where: Bondi Pavilion & other venues across Bondi

Details: This winter wonderland family-friendly Festival will showcase free & ticketed events across Bondi for 17 days. Events include workshops, performances, displays, comedy, art, culture, ice skating, activities, and more.

4. Mould- A Cheese Festival
When: Friday, 30th June 2023-1st July 2023
Where: Carriageworks, 245 Wilson St, Eveleigh

Details: Australia's biggest cheese festival is back and will celebrate all things cheese with exhibitors, handpicked wine, beer, cider, sake, and nibbles, tasting & sampling, and more.

5. Chill Fest

Where: Koshigaya Park, Cnr Hurley St & Camden Rd, Campbelltown

Details: This winter festival will showcase free & ticketed events for everyone. There will be a massive line-up of entertainment, activities, Neon Walk Through Garden, light displays, private igloo hire, amusement and carnival rides, open-air ice rink, ice slide, roaming performers, the Winter Food Village, and much more.

6. Sydney Symphony Presents Britten & Prokofiev
When: Friday, 30th June 2023-1st July 2023: From 6pm
Where: Sydney Opera House, 1 Macquarie St, Circular Quay

Details: This concert will bring to life the evocative works by Prokofiev and Britten in this intimate and spectacular chamber music program.

7. Ladies of the 80s & George Michael

Details: This jam-packed show will showcase two mega shows in one night! The show will kick off with hits of Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Blondie, Donner Summer, The Pointer Sisters, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, The Bangles, Pat Benatar, and many more.

8. National Indigenous Art Fair

Where: Overseas Passenger Terminal, 130 Argyle St, The Rocks
Cost: Gold coin donation to support First Hand Solutions' Aboriginal youth program.
Details: This event will celebrate contemporary Indigenous art, design, food and culture with live experiences including talks, demonstrations, tastings, live music, workshops, performances, exhibits and displays, activities, and more.

9. Back to Normo Day

15. Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration

28. The Bloody Long Walk: Sydney North
When: Sunday, 30th July 2023: 6:30am-4:45pm
Where: Palm Beach Golf Club, 2 Beach Rd, Palm Beach
Cost: Fundraising event.
Details: This fundraising event will feature a 35km challenge. Walk, jog or run as you enjoy the spectacular scenery whilst raising vital funds to help cures for mitochondrial disease (mito). Mito is a debilitating and potentially fatal genetic disorder that impairs the body's ability to convert food into the energy needed to power muscles and major organs.
