Having a man cave is becoming more popular amongst modern men and there are so many things they want to include in their special space. The lack of room in the house usually leaves the garage as the only solution for some quiet area without toys, makeup and every other thing guys don't want to look at every day. In addition to that, it's known that guys like to always fix something on their bikes and cars, so giving them a place to do that outside the house is a perfect way to reduce the amount of motor oil inside.

**The ultimate tool chest
**A perfect space where all the tools can be perfectly kept without taking too much space is the ultimate tool chest and there's no real garage without one. The best part about it is that a lot of tools can be stored in it and you'll know where everything is if you organize it properly. In every movie, we can see that perfect red chest with lots of drawers and different kinds of tools we all probably need. This can be a great gift for holidays because it's probably the number one item on every handyman's list.
**There's no garage without a workbench
**

This is pretty much the base of the garage and the majority of the work will be done here so don't be afraid to utilize an entire wall in order to create a perfect workbench. You don't have to be a professional in order to build one, you just need a sturdy space where you can build and repair stuff without the possibility of getting hurt. Don't opt for expensive materials because you can make a workbench on your own using old doors, tables and a quality fiberboard, and make this your first project in your new working area.
**Safety comes first
**Don't start working on a big project right away and neglect safety, because the consequences can be serious and there's really no need for that. Always keep a fire extinguisher near you to prevent the fire from spreading, and wear safety clothing to be extra careful. No matter how close to your house you actually are, you need to keep a first aid kit close by and prevent any potential blood loss. Even if you're performing some small repairs on your car, always wear a mask and protective gloves to prevent oil from getting on your skin.
**The importance of lighting
**

It goes without saying that you won't be able to do proper work if you don't see anything, so you need to set up adequate lighting. Just imagine working on something and constantly doing it wrong because you're unable to notice the mistake. Because all the appliances use a ton of power, you can opt for efficient lighting to balance the electricity bills. A great LED lighting will not only save you money, but also provide a more natural light which will be very pleasant for your eyesight.
**Why not add something for entertainment?
**After you've finished all of your projects and all the tools are placed back where they belong, you deserve to relax, don't you? Therefore, don't forget to add a few interesting and enjoyable features. With all the work ahead of you, you'll probably be hungry pretty much the entire time and having a small fridge to store sandwiches and beer is great – plus, you won't have to go back to the house every time you want to eat or drink something! Another thing that will make your time in the garage more enjoyable is music so just go through your attic, find a set of old speakers and connect them to your phone. The last thing you'll need is a comfortable couch or a chair to kick off your shoes, relax or take a nap.

Don't feel bad if a garage is your number one wish and keep in mind that working all day long and being a dad, husband or grandpa means that you have a lot on your mind. Having a personal space where you can recuperate and recharge your batteries will help you to go through the day no matter how tired you are.
