Always been inspired to write, and love the idea of freelancing now. Enjoy quaffing wine; good coffees and being festive in the festival state. Thirsting for experiencing so much more...

Italian or European hot chocolate must be the winter drink.

Cibo do it, Cafe Palazzo on The Parade and Osmond Tce do it and for the suburbanites there's a little nuanced cafe in Newton, called Java Lifestyle, which does shots of it.

This particular little cafe, just like Cafe Buongiorno on The Parade, has a loyal clientèle of elderly Italian men who partake of their coffee there, as a mid-morning ritual, too. The shelves of antique coffee mills and makers, make for an olde worlde ambience.

It's a pleasant surprise in the burbs and they do have those shots of European hot chocolate, which is like chocolate mousse in an espresso glass. And while the aforementioned places also have European hot chocolate too, it only comes in a cappuccino size cup and is therefore double the price. Still, it all warms the cockles of your heart in winter. Cibo only serve this drink in winter.
