Thao Walla Sunset Retreat is located at the far tip of Soldiers Point and it is the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the waters of Port Stephens. This park has van sites, glamping tents and 1 and 2 bedroom villas. Our family have stayed at this venue and we loved the cabins in the trees, the birds in the morning and the pool near the entrance. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Nelson Bay and is a quiet spot to retreat to at the end of the day. See here for details. For a full article on things to do at Soldiers Point, see here.
