No Boredom Blues These Winter School Holidays

"I'm bored!"

It must be school holiday time again! How many parents hear this from their kids? Well, there is no need to hear this from your kids this winter. Your school holiday program is all sorted at Sydney Olympic Park.

With more than 50 activities there is so much to choose from to keep your kids boredom-free. Winter need not be a time of staying indoors, these activities will be on rain, hail or shine - so, click here to see details and how to book.

Activities range from free to very reasonably priced and the choice is so varied you won't have any issues dragging your kids away from their screens. In fact, the activities will delight everyone but especially kids from 6 to 15 years old.

For the older kids, why not try the 35km bike trails or challenge yourself and friends on The Amazing Chase? Disc Golf is a free activity, which is great fun for the whole family.

Are you and your kids sporty? Try the Tennis World Junior Holiday Camps; AC Milan Soccer Camp, Gym Sports, Basketball, Football or Wanderers in the Park.

Kids in the Park has the largest range of activities in NSW. What about Netball? With netball professionals like NSW captains Abbey McCulloch and Paige Hadley, your kids will learn heaps of tips on how to play.

Here is what the NSW Sports Minister had to say about encouraging kids to enjoy the outdoors at Kids in the Park

"As Sports Minister, I'm constantly encouraging our kids to stay fit and healthy through physical activity," said NSW Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres. "The Kids in the Park school holiday program helps deliver just those opportunities, from BMX to acrobatics, swimming to soccer, there's something active for kids of all ages," Minister Ayres said.

Sydney Olympic Park offers lots of activities for kids and adults.

Let's not forget the famous Aquatic Centre with the 45-metre tubular water slide and the Urban Jungle Adventure Course, a high ropes course set up in the trees at the back of the Aquatic Centre. Plan for the whole day with these two activities as the Urban Jungle Adventure Park includes entry to the Aquatic Centre.

There are also activities for the not-so-sporty kids like 'The Writing Workshop - Poetry: Rhythm & Rhyme'. Also for science geeks, Fizzics Education bring their science-based activities for kids to have fun, explore and learn about science all at the same time. 'Gross and Gory Science' and 'Lego Robotics' are just two activities on offer.
