Moonlight markets
There will be plenty of moonlight markets this month


Moonlight Markets and Family Sundowner
You have to love a moonlight market, especially if it means you don't have to cook dinner. Grab the family and head to these relaxing evening markets, with food stalls, market and craft stalls and a range of entertainment for the whole family.

Chinese New Year celebrations at Stirling Farmers Market
Most of the Chinese New Year events are already over but there is one last chance to see the special Lion Dancing and special Chinese New Year celebrations at the Stirling Farmer's Market. Be there early for the Chung Wah Chinese Orchestra at 9.00am and 10.00am and the special Lion Dance at 9.30am.

PIAF is back and with a massive line-up including 87 free events and shows (click here for all the free events) there will be plenty of opportunity for conversations, movies, adventure, art, inspiration and more. Kadidjiny Park Markets
Dr Suess is going moonlight with a special twilight market at Kadidjiny Park. With more than 70 market and food stalls, plus plenty of free activities and entertainment for the whole family, these markets are now monthly, with the February market having dancing Chinese Lions, drums and martial arts to celebrate Chinese New Year. There will be free arts and crafts for the kids, local musicians and buskers as well as plenty of food stalls so you can buy dinner and relax on the beautiful park lawns.

ANZAC Cottage is celebrating 101 years since its construction, making it well and truly antique. This remarkable milestone will be celebrated with guided tours of the Cottage, revealing the amazing history of this lovely Cottage built in just one day back in 1916. South Beach Sunset Markets
The South Beach Sunset Markets are open every Saturday evening until March. Kids and dogs are welcome, and food stalls will be set up on the grass to the north of the South Beach kiosk in Fremantle so you can buy some dinner and enjoy the sunset. With international foods to try, free entertainment, free parking – it is a great evening for all.

The organisers also have an admirable policy to reduce plastic waste: stall holders are asked not to bring plastic products, and customers can help by bringing their own plates, cups and cutlery, with a washing up station set up so you can rinse them before you go home).

Bite Night

All are welcome to the launch of the Coogee Maritime Dive Trail. Bring your diving or snorkelling gear and get under the waves for the opening of the underwater dive and land-based trail in Coogee. Quarry Amphitheatre 30th Anniversary Celebration
The iconic Quarry Amphitheatre in City Beach is having its 30th anniversary and there will be a special free concert to celebrate. With performances from local bands and ballet producers, the audience will be treated to re-living some of the incredible performances held at the Quarry over the past three decades. Tickets are free but initially only open to Cambridge residents from Monday 9th January, and remaining tickets will be offered to the general public from February 7th.
