Free Talks

Fresh Science is a series of talks by young scientists on their research. It is held at Three Wise Monkeys (555 George Street Sydney) and provides a stimulating way to find out more about recent discoveries. The next meeting is on Wednesday the 6th of June at 6pm and tickets are available here . Entry is free, and drinks available at pub prices.

Free Exhibitions

The Art Gallery of NSW will display Adrienne Doig's fine tapestries at the Research library from Tuesdays to Saturdays until the end of June 2018. These works feature Australian animals in European landscapes.

' Hold Still – The Photographic Performance ' explores the way in which anyone on the other side of a camera also becomes a performer. This exhibition is also at The Art Gallery of NSW throughout June and examines the influence of photography on contemporary life.

Markets

The Hills Upmarket is on Sunday June 24th 2018 at the Pony Club, Gilbert Road (Showground Road Entrance) in Castle Hill. This market offers organic produce and gourmet foods across 25 acres of bushland. Entry and parking are free.

The Chinatown Markets are held every Friday from 4pm throughout June. Head over to Dixon Street in Haymarket and sample tasty snacks and tempting desserts. A range of crafts and gifts are also on sale.
