Jolimont Twilight Fete

Jolimont Primary School is hosting its inaugural Twilight Fete, an evening of rides and games, market stalls, prizes and gourmet food. Highlights include giant inflatable rides, a mega white elephant stall with books, toys, sporting goods and dress-ups, a pet stall with gifts for your furry friends, slime-making, tombola, as well as the chance to have a photograph with a koala (and other Aussie native animals), a huge free box playground, pop-up bar and lots more. A must see this year, Perth city will be lit up with 18 amazing light installations and Christmas decorations. Follow the trail (or go your own way) and discover the incredible projections and animations in malls, parks and streets throughout the city. More information.

Port Coogee Festival of Lights Saturday 1st December, 5-9pm
Enjoy the turning on of the Christmas lights with the fun free event. There will be plenty of free activities for the kids, plus amusements, food trucks, live entertainment, market stalls, lights display and more. More information.
Starting in the late afternoon, the Guildford Christmas Twilight Market includes a special children's Christmas show and visit from Santa, as well more than 100 market stalls and Foodies Hub, plus free kids activities and a silent disco. Dogs on leashes welcome. More information.

Help find Santa's lost reindeers by completing the giant Christmas Maze in Elizabeth Quay. Open weekdays from 2-7pm and weekends from 10am-3pm, everyone who finds all nine reindeer in the maze goes into the draw for a great Christmas prize. St Patrick's Mt Lawley Christmas Festival

Stretching along Beaufort Street, this family-friendly festival will have plenty of market stalls, food and wine stalls and live entertainment as well as activities for the kids plus live entertainment. Christmas Symphony in the City

Hosted by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, this is Perth's largest outdoor Christmas concert with a range of classical music from Silent Night to the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky. With more than 150 performers including some of Perth's top choirs, people are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy pre-show entertainment from 5pm. After the cancellation of the traditional Variety Carols by Candlelight due to a lack of sponsorship, the new revamped Christmas Symphony will now include classical music hits plus everyone's favourite Christmas carols. Bring the kids and your camera to London Court this week as a special snow will be falling in the historic lane and transforming it into a winter wonderland. Snow will be falling at 10am, 10.45am and 11.30am daily with Santa dropping by between 11am-2pm daily. More information.
