Most people know about Phillip island for Penguins, yet many do not realise you do not need to travel so far. A St Kilda Waddle (yes that is the correct name for a gathering of penguins) moved in in the 1970s and seems here to stay. They come in every night of the year, but summer is the best time to see them. There are volunteer guides on site during daylight savings. Click here for website.
