With Christmas just two months away, its time to start planning your festivity schedule. What better way to welcome the merry season than with an abundance of warm sunshine and a wide range of activities that you and your whole family can enjoy around Sydney . Get into the festive mood this coming Christmas season with a variety of choir performances every night at Martin Place and every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday nights in Pitt Street Mall . [SECTION]2 Dec – Christmas in Green Square[/SECTION]

Set in a Christmas wonderland, performances from Sam Moran, the Sydney Philharmonia Choir, SplashDance, Ally Boom Boom & The Cool Bananas, DJ Peter Baecker and the Glorious Sousaphonics will bring the night to life. Kids can look forward to craft activities, table tennis, and games with Christmas elves. Santa stockings filled with special treats will also be on sale with proceeds going to Variety, The Children's Charity. Available for purchase on the night will be food, coffee and gelato. With a diverse range of market stalls selling everything from women's fashion to menswear, children's clothes, toys, gifts, homeware, fine art, ceramics, jewellery, pet accessories, leather goods and more, this is the place to be getting your Christmas shopping done. Every year, this event brings together the community to celebrate the arrival of Christmas . Organised by the Bayside Council, it is a splendid way to spend the evening with family and friends and celebrate the festive season with carols and entertainment for the kids. Hosted by Sam Moran, with entertainment from Jimmy Giggle, SplashDance, Ally Boom Boom & The Cool Bananas and Suite Az, kids will be delighted to join in with the singing and dancing. Head over to Dee Why Beach for a Christmas themed evening with traditional carols, a Christmas show for the family and a range of activities such as free face-painting. This great family evening out is made better with photo opportunities with Santa, as well as a jumping castle for kids to enjoy. Bring along a picnic blanket and enjoy some delicious cuisine from the onsite food vendors or pack something of your own. Supporting partner Cunninghams will be handing out battery operated candles at the entry gates so do come early! Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Back again as the longest running carol event in Macarthur, this year's Carols in the Garden features a Christmas market which runs from 3pm to 7pm. Throughout the markets' open hours there will be entertainment for the kids with fantastic pre-carols stage programs with the official carols kicking off at 7pm.
