Celebrate all things "Aussie" with the ones you love
The following family-friendly events are located in and around Brisbane City.

Australia Day at South Bank
26 January, 1-7:30pm, South Bank

Enjoy free live music from 1-5:30pm including performances from Birdman Randy, The Ivory Street Preachers and special guest DJs. The evening will culminate with a fireworks display boasting green and yellow fireworks and six pyrotechnic jet ski performers.

Australia Day Weekend at the Bistro
26 and 27 January, 10am-5:30pm daily, Victoria Park Bistro

Families will enjoy various lawn games, jumping castle, face painting, live music and market stalls. Special "Aussie" lunch and dinner menu will be available, please book by calling 3253 2533

Australia Day 2019
26 January, 12-8pm, Sandstone Hotel

Cool down with inflatable slides, pools and a 50m slip'n'slide. In addition to menu special offers, visitors will also be treated to themed games and live entertainment.

Australia Day Carpark Party
26 January, 3-8pm, North Lakes Sports Club

This free event features children's rides and activities (including a water slide), pop-up bar, food and drink trucks and live entertainment. A fireworks display will herald the end of the evening.

Australia Day in Redcliffe 2019
26 January, 3-8pm, Suttons Beach (Redcliffe)

Australia Day in Redcliffe is free to attend and suitable for all members of the family. Enjoy beach games such as beach cricket, volleyball etc or garden activities including dart soccer, ninja challenge and shark slide. The evening will culminate with a fireworks display at 8pm.

Australia Day Long Weekend
26-28 January, Bearded Dragon Hotel

What's better than celebrating Australia Day? Celebrating the entire Australia Day long weekend. The Bearded Dragon will be a hive of activity with live entertainment, Australian-themed games and toad racing daily.

27 January will feature a crocodile and reptile show (11am and 2:30pm) and special menu offers will be available across all three days. Bookings recommended: (07) 5543 6888

Greater Springfield Fun Fair - Australia Day
26 January, 5-9pm, Tournament Drive (Brookwater)

Enjoy rides, entertainment, community stalls and food / drink vans. Rides $5 each or unlimited rides wristband $25. The evening will finish with a fireworks display.

Australia Day Family Day
26 January, 9am-3pm, Summer Land Camels

Enjoy games, scone baking, assorted children's activities and a farm tour at 11am ($22 adult / $12 child).

Camel rides will be available for an additional cost. Bookings essential.
