It will be one “fairtastic” month of fun and entertainment
This August, Sydney and its surrounds will be ending boredom with this list of fun and entertaining family-friendly fairs & fetes.
The list below features both free & ticketed fairs, fetes & festivals
1. Moocooboola Festival
When: 5 August 2018: 9:30am-4pm Where: Boronia Park Ovals, Hunters Hill Cost: Free Details: This fun festival will showcase non-stop entertainment with activities, amusement & carnival rides, live performances, market bazaar, games and more. Click here for the website.
Cost: $2pp Details: It has been over 40 years since the first fair was held and today the fair is still going strong. 4. Balmoral Food & Wine Fair

5. Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival
When: 17-26 August 2018
Where: Auburn Botanic Gardens, Chisholm Rd & Chiswick Rd, Auburn
Cost: $15pp Opening Night event, $5pp for non-residents & Free for residents
Details: This festival will be in full 'blossom' with a celebration of Japanese culture with performances, entertainment, food stalls, live music acts, traditional Japanese activities and entertainment, displays, acts, walks around the gardens, Japanese craft beer garden, and more. 6. Country Fair
