Sydney is a fun place to visit. With all the activities you can enjoy, and the laid-back pubs you can visit anytime, there is plenty of reason to stick around Australia's biggest city.
Discover meaningful art displayed in the streets of Sydney, or watch thought-provoking theater performances. Or maybe you can look for jazz clubs around the area where you can relax with some smooth sounds.
The weekend is a much-awaited time for many of us. We seek to break away from the daily stress at work and to discover new places that will give us a fresh perspective. Personally, I like spending time outside of my house on the weekends because it's the only time that I get to fully have my leisure time. I leave the home cleaning to the professionals and go on a trip to the city to attend fairs and festivals that are being held on the weekend.
I've picked out some of the best things to do in Sydney for this coming weekend:
David Jones Spring Flower Show
Spring has come, and that means we get to see blooming flowers everywhere. The annual David Jones Flower Show will be held this weekend in the Elizabeth St David Jones store, and I'm just as excited as you are to
see a paradise of spring flowers displayed to welcome the arrival of spring. This annual event is now in its 33rd year and it is expected to attract thousands of visitors just like the previous David Jones Flower shows. People from different backgrounds such as flower enthusiasts, horticulturalists, and young Instagrammers flock to the store to delight in the spectacular flower arrangements that are designed by specialist florists. The flowers are sourced locally, while plants and greens that are not in season are sourced overseas. For this year's show, florists spent 10,000 hours arranging 300,000 spring flowers.
