Christmas is usually synonymous with snow and in certain areas of Australia a 'white' Christmas in July is actually possible. Here on our
'beautiful one day, perfect the next' Sunshine Coast - okay, look beyond the days-on-end rain that we are presently experiencing - we may not be blessed with the white fluffy
stuff in winter, but with the naturally cooler days comes a certain magic and snuggly ambience, perfect for celebrating a Christmas in July.
Much to my festive delight, I have sourced some top events to celebrate Christmas in July, four of which are around the Sunshine Coast with the fifth event being a tad closer to Brisbane but … all worthy of a very special mid-year date!

Join Secrets on the Lake for their annual
one-night only Christmas in July Dinner where guests are treated to a free glass of mulled wine on arrival plus the mouth-watering Gold Package Christmas Menu. For only $65 per head, guests will enjoy the three course dinner with a bonus
amuse bouche - a single, bite-sized
hors d'śuvre - plate on arrival. Tables for the Christmas in July Dinner may be booked as early as 5.30pm in the evening.
Secrets on the Lake luncheons and the dinner provide a fabulous opportunity for family, social clubs or work buddies to get together for a mid-year Christmas experience. Delicious food, a magical ambience, spectacular views over the water and a hearty helping of festive cheer sounds absolutely perfect for those chilly winter days in the hinterland.

The Eumundi & District Historical Association in conjunction with local chef, Peter Wolfe, will be presenting a fabulous
Christmas in July Dinner. Guests will be treated to an appetising Christmas menu, entertainment, excellent company, plus a lucky door prize. The cherry on top is knowing that some of the proceeds from this sensational dinner are contributed to
Rural Aid to support the 'Buy a Cow' programme.
The Boston Belles will be providing the entertainment.

horse races.
Single tickets are only $120 per person and
