I'm a Sunshine Coast journalist who jumped out of a lengthy mainstream media career 18 months ago to do some hearty work for the soul. A pescatarian sharing with you her secrets on our little piece of coast paradise.
Event: -
Adventures to make you warm from the inside out
SLAMMERS OR SMOOTHIES - TAKE YOUR PICK!

Has the drop in temperature got you trading your nights on the town or days of exploring for a comfy spot on the couch to watch tired TV? Well, don't let the winter chills keep you inside and away from all the incredible adventures that await you as I share with you the best reasons to see the sun rise this month on the Sunshine Coast.

NIK'S PIK - SO the mercury has dropped a little, and the temptation to spend this month buried under your doona with an endless supply of soy Chai's watching Bing Crosby movies is certainly a very present temptation.
But when you have an event like the Noosa Long Weekend Festival on your doorstep, there is no other choice but to brave the chills. In the event's 12th year, the 10 day/night program featuring 250 local, national and international artists, 85 events - both free and ticketed, will commence. And whether you are 10 or 100 - it's sure to mean an unforgettable June.
