1/ Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:
500g turkey mince
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 red onion, chopped finely
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 Tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
1 Tablespoon olive oil (If using a food processor to mix)

Combine in a large bowl or mix in a food processor. Form into patties. Fry in oil until cooked through. Serve in a bun with lettuce, tomato and guacamole.

2/ Chicken Taco Burgers

Ingredients:
500g chicken mince
1 egg
35g packet of mild taco seasoning
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
Extra breadcrumbs to roll the patties in

Combine in a large bowl and form into patties. Roll in extra breadcrumbs. Fry in oil until cooked through. Serve in a bun with lettuce, a slice of tinned pineapple and sweet chilli sauce.

3/ Pork & Red Onion Burgers

Ingredients:
500g pork mince
1 red onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 cup plain flour
1 egg

Combine in a large bowl and form into patties. Fry in oil until cooked through. Serve in a bun with lettuce, tomato and chilli relish.

* If you make extra patties you don't need, wrap each uncooked pattie in cling film and pop in the freezer.

4/ Savoury Mince & Spaghetti on Toast

Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon olive oil
500g lean beef mince
1 brown onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup beef stock
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
420g tin of spaghetti, salt reduced
1 Tablespoon flour

Heat oil in a frypan. Add garlic and onion and cook until soft.
Add mince and cook until browned. Sprinkle over flour and stir.
Stir in tomato paste, beef stock and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to the boil. Simmer for 20 minutes until the sauce has reduced.
Stir in tinned spaghetti and cook through.
Serve on toast.

5/ Chicken Koftas

Ingredients:
500g chicken mince
1 brown onion, finely chopped
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons ground coriander

Soak bamboo skewers in water.
Combine ingredients in a medium bowl.
Form the mince around the skewers, so they look like a sausage on a stick.
BBQ for 15 minutes, turning regularly.
