Take your dog along to one of these events
Those of us who treat our dogs as family members will understand the importance of these dog events! It is always nice to take the whole family, including the dogs on an outing. With this list, you will be able to do just that and know you will all have an enjoyable day together.

Paws Explores MUDDY Dogstacle Adventure
This event will be held on 8th September 2018, at Echuca. It will be on from 10 am to 4 pm. There will also be dog treat market stalls here, as well as food stalls. This organisation donates ALL profits from each of the events and divides it between various animal and human charities.

Pet & Animal Expo
This will be on 16th September, from 10 am to 3 pm. It will be held at the Wyndham Civic Centre, 45 Princes Hwy, Werribee. The Pet & Animal Expo is a fun, family and pet-friendly day where all activities and entertainment are free. The events include:

Dog obedience displays and educational demonstrations
Expo of products and services for pets and their owners
Pet displays including exotic cats, dogs, budgerigars, ferrets, rabbits and more
Popular children's activities such as face painting and reptile/animal displays
A variety of food trucks

Pets Day Out
This will be on Sunday, 14th October, from 10 am to 3 pm. It will be held at Ballam Park, Cranbourne Rd, Frankston. This free annual event is not just for pet owners - come and meet animals if you do not own one!

Highlights include:
Pet parade
Dachshund races
Animal farm
Pet products and service stalls
Demonstrations
Learn about responsible pet ownership

Learn to Paint Your Dog
This will be held on 18th October, from 7 pm to 9.30 pm and the cost is from $43 to $53. It will be held at The National Hotel, 344 Victoria Street, Richmond.

Join in the "date with your dog" painting class where a talented instructor will show you how to do you doggo justice with a paintbrush! If you do not own a dog, still come with a picture. You are able to bring your pooch as a model also.

Nillumbik Pet Expo
This will be held on Sunday, 21st October, from 9 am - 2 pm. It will be on at the Marngrook Oval, Diamond Creek.

Some of the attractions include:
dog obedience displays
pet competitions,
an animal nursery
snake handling display
a chance to meet Council's rangers and local vets to have all your pet questions answered

Bark for Life
This will be held on 28th October, from 10 am to 2 pm. It will be held at Jells Park South, Wheelers Hill. This is a special Cancer Council Victoria event where you can walk with your dog. This will celebrate the survivors and carers, and to remember those we have lost to cancer. At the same time, it will help to raise funds in order to save lives.

On the day, there will be entertainment and activities in amarket style atmosphere. There will be something for all ages - whether you have two or four legs!

Dogapalooza Melbourne
This will be held on 11th November, from 11 am. It will be held at Burnley Park, Richmond. It is a dog-friendly music festival and proceeds benefit Oscar's Law, Puppy Tails, Melbourne Animal Rescue, Greyhound Rescue Victoria, Kayas Mission, plus more.

Family Fun Day Dog a Thon
This will be held on 18th November, from 10 am to 3 pm. It will be held at Bicentennial Park Playground, Thames Promenade, Chelsea.

There will be fun, food and entertainment for the entire family, pets included! Food trucks, market stalls, free activities, entertainment and prizes to be won.

Join the Dog-A-Thon walk and help raise funds for local and international pet rescue organisations.

They support The Australian Animal Protection Society to help them rebuild their new shelter, and International Dog Rescue Organisation in Lesvos, Greece.

Doggy Day Out
This will be held on 25th November, from 10 am to 2 pm. It will be held at PB Ronald Reserve, Pakenham. There will be pet themed market stalls, family stalls, guest speakers, activities, and food trucks. It is a FREE family event that celebrates dogs, and their owners.

You will meet like-minded people here and the aim of the event is to have fun!
