Channel Nine's Bondi Vet: Coast to Coast Dr Peter Ricci should know a thing or two when it comes to judging a good pooch.

And the good doctor will get his chance as a judge on this year's Inglewood Night Markets for the annual dog show on Monday, November 18.

Peter will be joined on the judging panel by Channel Nine Today Perth lifestyle presenter Adrian Alaberg and Carmen Braidwood, Nine's Destination WA presenter and 6PR's Weekend Breakfast presenter.

Keeping control of the show will be Channel Nine Weekend News presenter Alice Murray, who understands the kind of commitment required to include a dog as part of the family.

She and her husband cameraman Gavin Murray have a French Bulldog, Raul, who became partially paralysed in 2016 from a degenerative disc disease.

While the couple kitted out Raul with an aluminium wheelchair which they bought online from the US, they share the task of taking Raul to the toilet four times a day.

They also take Raul to physiotherapy or acupuncture each week in the hope his nerves might regenerate.

Visitors to the Inglewood Night markets will be able to meet Alice, Peter, Elise and Matt at the Inglewood Town Square in front of the library on the corner of Beaufort Street and Tenth Avenue, Inglewood from 6.15pm.

There will also be an opportunity to meet Instagram star Rollo the Shiba Inu dog who has more than 70,000 followers.

Last year around 30 well behaved dogs and owners strutted their stuff for the judges and entries for this year's show can be made by emailing [email protected] with the name of your fur baby, breed and age.

All dogs must be on a leash.

Damien Giudici, Chair of the Inglewood on Beaufort Street community group which runs the Monday night markets, says the dog show is a casual affair that gives owners a chance to show off happy, well-behaved, cute colourful dogs.

"People can dress up their dogs or dress them down, but come along and have some fun," he says.

There will be prizes on offer for winning dogs including a first prize of $100 voucher to use at the Bedford Dianella Vet Centre, second prize is a $50 voucher from FurBaby Boutique & Café in Westminster and third prize is $20 to spend at the Treat Truck at the Inglewood Night markets.

Damien says the Monday Night Markets which operate every Monday though to April 6 next year (except December 30), provide the perfect opportunity to take the dog for a walk, pick up some dinner from one of the many food vendors and settle in for a fun evening.
