The event will be held at the Inglewood Library forecourt, on the corner of Beaufort Street and Tenth Avenue in Inglewood.

MC for the event will be former Channel Seven's House Rules contestant Carole Bramston and will be judged by former Channel Seven My Kitchen Rules contestant Kelly Steele and Channel Seven Amazing Race Australia contestant and vet at Bedford-Dianella Vet Centre, Sally Yamamoto-Smith and Community Newspaper editor Denise Cahill.

Organisers are looking for 30 well-behaved dogs and owners to walk the runway. All dogs must be on a leash.

President of Inglewood on Beaufort, Vince Garreffa said they were looking for happy, cute, well-behaved dogs. "Dress them up, dress them down and bring them along for a colourful, fun evening," Vince says.

"Chuck some cash in the bucket as an entry fee which will all go to Lifeline and then go for a stroll with your dog along Beaufort St and try out some of the fantastic food on offer."

Register by email at to take part with the name of your fur baby, along with its breed and age. There will be prizes on offer for the winning dogs.

The Bedford Dianella Vet Centre is donating a voucher for $100 which can be used on anything at the vet clinic.

Mondo Butcherd is donating 10, 1kg packs of preservative and additive free, human grade, offal and mince.

Third prize from The Treat Truck is a $20 voucher to be spent at her truck at the markets.

Vince says many people already take the opportunity to bring their dogs out for a stroll on a Monday evening to get a bit of exercise and sample something delicious from the dozens of stalls that line both sides of Beaufort St from the apartments on the corner of 6th Avenue to 10th Avenue. "The dog show will give them an extra bit of incentive to get out there on a Monday evening with their furry friend," he says.

The dog show is being run as one of a number of events within the Monday night markets, supported by the City of Stirling, which will run from 6pm to 9.30pm though until April 30.

Plenty of tables and chairs are set out along the route and 7th Avenue has been closed off to provide a space for Wendy's Jazz Bar where people can bring their food to sit and eat, have a glass of wine, a beer or a cider and enjoy live music.
