Open Gardens are always worth a visit, as are the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens and Wittunga Botanic Gardens in Blackwood. The Adelaide Hills in Autumn are a highlight too. For plant nurseries you can't go past Newman's Nursery in Tea Tree Gully - which has tearooms too.
