Ideas for your workplace around the city centre
Christmas is on its way and if you're in charge of organising the work Christmas party, then you may be starting to have a little panic! Canberra has a huge range of venues to choose from, so it can be tricky to narrow it down to a few places to then present to the group. Do you want a sit-down dinner? Or do you want everyone to mingle? If you're a new business, it may be fun to arrange somewhere that has dancing, music or board games, so there is something else to do as you break the ice and get to know each other.
In my own workplace in Canberra, we decided each year to meet in the Civic (city centre) - so it catered to both north side and south side residents. If your workplace has the same idea, keep reading for just some of the options in the Civic to start your research...
