metropolitan Adelaide, you'll find an array of markets in the Adelaide Hills region this Christmas 2022.

Foremost on the list is, of course, the ever-popular
Hahndorf Christkindlmarkt returning for the first time since 2019. The European-inspired Christmas market will be held on the grounds of C3 Church Adelaide Hills from Friday the 16th to Sunday the 18th of December. Using public transport to get there is the best option as street parking tends to be limited in the German town. Besides market stalls, you'll also be spoilt for choice by the large selection of food and drinks available. Entry is free, however, please leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of all patrons.

Secondly, the
Gathered Christmas Design Market will head up to Hahndorf as well on the weekend before. From Friday the 9th to Sunday the 11th of December, you have the opportunity to shop up a storm while supporting local South Australian designers and artisans. There will be more than sixty stalls featuring homewares, candles, flowers, jewellery, art and clothing at the Thiele House on Main Street. Entry is $2 per adult with some of the proceeds going towards charity.

And, lastly, Stirling Oval is hosting the town's
Christmas market and fair on Sunday the 4th of December. It will be an afternoon filled with live music, sideshows, amusement rides, kids craft and animal nursery as well as over fifty food and gift stalls. The oval is conveniently located on Mount Barker Road.
