2/ Rick Stein at Port Stephens is a newly-opened restaurant at Bannister's boutique hotel in Soldiers Point. This UK celebrity chef has a passion for seafood and opened his second restaurant in Australia at this scenic location by the water. The restaurant and Bannister's hotel only opened in September 2018 and already it is a hit with the locals, tourists and seafood-lovers to the region. The restaurant is taking names to put on their waitlist, for their first Christmas Day Lunch at Rick Stein Port Stephens. Relax and enjoy the view and atmosphere of this scenic, luxury location and dine on the perfect combination of Australian favourites and classic Christmas fare. 3/ The Anchorage hotel and spa at Corlette will be offering 3 Christmas Day options at their scenic resort, right on the water. There will be a Christmas Luxe Lunch in the spectacular seaside Chesworth Dining Room, which will consist of a 5 course plated Christmas menu with a glass of bubbles on arrival for $165 per adult and $75 per child. Next on the list is the Christmas Feast Buffet Lunch (update - SOLD OUT) and also the Christmas Feast Buffet Dinner with a glass of sparkling wine, hot and cold seasonal options, local seafood and traditional cuts for a traditional Christmas lunch.
